“However much we know about birth in general, we know nothing about a particular birth. We must let it unfold with its own uniqueness.”

- Elizabeth Noble

Welcome to NV Maternal Wellness, your village, your tribe.

There is no one right way to be pregnant, to give birth, to be a mother. There are as many ways to walk this path as there are birthing people in this world. But when surrounded by support and information, we are free to explore what works for ourselves. Where to find our village, our sanctuary, our support.

Our goal with birthing people and families is to avoid disturbing them unnecessarily. We are there for the support and to try our utmost best for you to have the most memorable birthing experience. The moment a child is born, a mother is also born. She never existed before, the women existed but the mother did not. A mother is something absolutely new. This is why we would like to become your village, your tribe in order to help you navigate absolutely anything that comes up during your prenatal, birth or postpartum journey.

The transition to motherhood requires respect.

It's the sacred window.

At NV Maternal Wellness we make this a priority. We tailor our support to your family’s specific needs. Throughout your pregnancy, your body works hard to fulfill the needs of your baby. This process of creation takes a great deal of energy and resources from your body. It is important to build rest into your day and to give yourself an opportunity for restoration. It takes courage to push back against demanding cultural narratives and listen to what your body is communicating to you. Being a mother is learning about strengths you didn't know you had, and dealing with fears you never knew existed.
